OHRAAt OHRA direct result is central in the service provision. In short: little small print, no waiting periods and short lines. At the moment OHRA insures approximately 500.000 individuals and is a division of Delta Lloyd Groep. It is their joint ambition to be one of the leading financial service providers in North-West Europe within a couple of years. The majority of the insurances and financial services can be taken out 24 hours a day. In other words, OHRA provides its services as understandable and transparent as possible. Itude at OHRAItude has played a leading role in inventing, developing and building of the new software architecture. The framework has been built in Java and enables the integration of back office systems with the user interfaces of the Internet and the call centre. The framework also facilitates future changes in the business process. This means that new ICT projects will be based on this framework. New services will therefore be introduced in the market earlier. And of course this will influence the revenues positively.

Van LanschotVan Lanschot is the largest independent bank in the Netherlands and operational since 1737. Van Lanschot primarily focuses on the wealthy individual and entrepreneur. The service provision has been organized based on the four lines of business: Private Banking, Asset Management, Business Banking, Corporate Finance and Securities. Itude at Van LanschotIn the period 2006-2007 Itude has advised Van Lanschot Bankiers in the migration of its credit card base from Equens to TSYS and the transfer of the managed services from Equens to PaySquare. Itude advised, amongst others, in the formulation of the credit card product setup, the EMV chip setup, the service level agreements for the managed services, the collaboration agreements between PaySquare and van Lanschot and the contract. The migration of the credit cards has been completed flawlessly and successfully.

BlinnBliin is a 'location-based' social network. Itude at BliinFor Bliin Itude Mobile has developed a mobile application for JavaME and Blackberry devices, thus enabling their users to share their location via GPS and Bluetooth.

City of The HagueThe City of The Hague is the third largest municipality in the Netherlands with approximately 500.000 inhabitants. Itude at The City of The HagueFor the City of The Hague Itude has developed a mid office that hosts several applications.

A good example is the City Information System, in which information has been recorded and progress has been registered regarding inconvenience causing locations. For the enforcement of permits a Permit Portal has been developed. Also an application has been developed for a tablet pc for the processing of tasks of the enforcement officers in the field. In addition a mobile application has been developed, that is suitable for 90% of all mobile phones, and that enables employees on location to retrieve data on objects in an approachable manner.

For the development Oracle Portal, Oracle Application Server, Java, and Web services have been used. BPEL has been used for the implementation of the applications.

ING BankBecause of a re-orientation of priorities of ING, the bank has decided to re-include the activities of the independent ING Card subsidiary in its business lines again. Itude at the ING BankItude has made available its knowledge for the execution of amongst others:
UAT Test Management: For the migration and implementation of Business cards to a new processing platform
Incident Management: Review and adjustment of the incident management system for the improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency

In this way, future students can always be assured of having information about the city available in a contemporary form.

ConnexxionConnexxion is a part of the French Transdev Connexxion and is market leader in the field of regional conveyance of passengers in the Netherlands. The total annual turnover in 2008 was over € 1 billion. The organisation has 14.700 employees and their fleet consists of amongst others 3.114 busses, 182 touring cars, 3734 taxis, 55 ambulances, 27 trams, 28 boats and 6 trains. Itude at ConnexxionItude Technology develops and maintains the core system for the maintenance of all operational data of the Connexxion public transportation on the basis Oracle Technology, such as: Designer, Developer and Spatial. This system has more than thirty interfaces with other systems, such as: personnel system, OV (public transportation) chip card etc. Itude also builds and maintains interfaces between several (standard) applications with Oracle InterConnect.

Bizner BankIn 2007, the Rabobank Group launched the first internet bank for entrepreneurs, called Bizner. The Bizner project organisation is situated in Antwerp. Itude at Bizner Bank In the roles of amongst others Stream Leader Cards and test manager, Itude took care of:

CRV BVCRV BV is an international organization specialized in optimization of cattle. Shareholders are the Dutch cooperative CR Delta and the Flemish cooperative VRV. The international division of CRV includes daughter companies in Brazil, The Czech Republic, Germany, Luxembourg, New-Zealand and Spain. Itude at CRV BVItude has provided assistance with the planning and support of the migration of more than 50 Oracle databases from older versions to Oracle 10g.

Dresdner BankIn the meantime Dresdner Kleinwort has become part of the Commerzbank and has an office in Amsterdam. Until now this bank has primarily focused on cash management activities in the Netherlands. The issuing of credit cards is a part of that specific service provision. Itude at Dresdner BankItude has supported the bank in a brief advice project for the enabling of the issuing of credit cards and the integration in the existing processes.

Chamber of Commerce (KvK NL)The Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK NL) is the parent organization of combined regional chambers of commerce. The core tasks of KvK NL are joint policy development, automation processes for regional Chambers of Commerce and the provision of business information to entrepreneurs, mainly via the Internet. Itude at KvK NLAt KvK NL, Itude works on the new Registry of Companies. This new Registry of Commerce will be the basis registration for companies and legal entities. It is part of the system of basis registrations. Thus the Registry of Companies contributes to a more efficient central government and a better service provision for entrepreneurs.

RabobankVia its division Rabobank International, Rabobank has further developed its ambition to be Europe’s largest Internet bank by introducing the first Internet bank for entrepreneurs in the Netherlands (Bizner). Itude at Rabobank Because of its knowledge of the financial market and its players (Equens, PaySquare and Rabobank Nederland), Itude has been involved in the start-up of money transfer of the new organization and the set up of processes. Itude, as an IT expert, has also been a valued supplier of Rabobank of consultancy services for several processes and systems.

Carbon DiemCarbon Diem has developed an enterprise reporting system for CO2 emission on the basis of GPS. Itude at Carbon DiemItude Mobile is responsible for the mobile application that unlocks data of this system on Blackberry and JavaME devices (Nokia etc).

EzGovEzGov builds and manages complex web solutions for government institutions. EzGov Europe was founded in 1999 and is situated in London, with offices in Birmingham and Amsterdam. Itude at EzGovAt EzGov, Itude works on a system that enables UK citizens, in possession of a residence permit, to make appointments with regard to that permit. It is web-based self-service application that takes care of the correct planning of these appointments on the basis of geographical location, status of the permit, etc. For the correct planning of the appointments different systems are used. For this system amongst others HTML, Java, Hybernate, Spring, JBoss Rules and Tomcat are being used. Also a proprietary framework has been developed that enables generating of ‘flows’ that may serve as a basis for the confirmation of appointments.

EquensFrom a national position Equens SE in Utrecht has developed into a Pan-European payment processor. With offices in Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, Equens belongs to the largest parties in Europe with regard to processing volume. In the years to come, when SEPA shall further develop, Equens SE shall play an important role as an automated clearing house. Itude at EquensFor the realization of the current position, Itude experts have fulfilled several roles within Equens SE. Several roles, such as positions in the process set-up, business analysis, operational management and marketing and sales within the cards playing field, are well known working areas. Itude has an extensive expertise in these areas.

IntersoftwareIntersoftware produces software solutions for financial service providers. Itude at IntersoftwareItude Mobile has developed an SMS (text message) solution for Intersoftware.

Nedap HealthcareNedap Healthcare is part of the globally operating Nedap N.V. and offers ICT solutions for care professionals. Their working method is an entrepreneurship stimulating one. Nedap Healthcare provides solutions for issues regarding mobile systems, access control or wander protection.
Employees of care institutions recorded their activities on paper and they also reported their hours worked, including travelling time, separately. Once a week, these documents were handed in with the administration, who subsequently entered the data in the system. This used to be a time consuming activity, resulted in errors and took away too much productivity from the employees. Itude at Nedap Healthcare By deploying RFID and GPRS technology, location and time registration is almost completely taken out of the hands of the administration personnel. The input, control and processing of data from the care provision process has now been fully automated. By means of a care card, owned by the patient, the care provider connects to the system. This is done via a mobile application of the employee that stores the information. At the time of reading out, the duration of the treatment and the travelling time between the locations, are immediately made visible.

Total System Services IncTotal System Services Inc, with its headquarters in Georgia, USA, is one of the largest card processors in the world. TSYS intends to also play a key role in Europe and therefore, next to its office in York, UK, it also has an office in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Itude at Total System ServicesItude has made available to TSYS its expertise as an intermediate in the capacity of project management for the migration projects of the card bases of the largest Dutch banks to the TSYS systems.

iPingiPing is market leader in the Benelux in the field of quality measurements of Internet-providers. Itude Mobile and iPing work together intensively in the field of mobile Internet.

Municipal Tax Department City of Amsterdam (DBGA)The Municipal Tax Department of the City of Amsterdam (DBGA) takes care of the levying and collecting of local taxes in Amsterdam, Landsmeer and Oostzaan. Examples of such local taxes are OZBE (property taxes for owners), waste collection levy, sewerage charges, tourist tax and dog licence fee. The Municipal Tax Department also determines the value for the purposes of the Valuation of Immovable Property Act of all houses and business premises in Amsterdam. Itude at DBGAItude has migrated the existing application from Oracle Forms 3.0 to Oracle Forms 6i. Here the ACDC tool, built by Itude, has been used, after it had been adapted for use at DBGA by one of the team members. After the migration the DBGA took over the maintenance op the application and Itude enforced the Application Services department to take care of the maintenance of the application. By now the application as a whole has been further migrated to Oracle Forms 10g. To be able to use all graphical possibilities, all screens are now been redesigned and rebuilt with Oracle Designer 10g. Also assistance has been rendered for the mapping of a number of a number a business processes. For these processes a process architecture has been set up, thus enabling these processes to be supported by a Workflow Management System based on COSA.

TransaviaFor over 40 years Transavia takes care of flights from Schiphol to European and African holiday destinations and carries approximately 4.5 million passengers per year. The Transavia fleet consists of over 30 Boeing 737-airplanes. As a 100% daughter of KLM, after the 2003 merger of Air France and KLM, Transavia now is a 100% daughter of this new combination. By now, Transavia has been transformed from a charter company into travelling agency that in addition to flights, now also offers other (holiday related) services. Itude at TransaviaIn order to support the transition of the IT department, an Itude program manager has been involved. In addition to this support, the program manager has executed the SOX ICT control and written the tactical and strategic ICT year plan.

xXessxXess produces innovative solutions based on NFC, RFID and barcodes. Itude at xXessAs a partner of xXess, Itude Mobile is responsible for all mobile software.

City of ZaanstadThe City of Zaanstad came into being in 1974, after the merger of the cities of Assendelft, Koog aan de Zaan, Krommenie, Westzaan, Wormerveer, Zaandam and Zaandijk. Itude at City of ZaanstadFor the City of Zaanstad, Itude has developed the portal applications pand-o-scope, company viewer and foundation recovery. The latter is very important for the citizens of Zaanstad. As it happens, especially before 1945 many houses in Zaanstad have been built on wooden foundation piles. These wooden piles are being affected by bacteria. In the end the foundation loses its supporting power. Usually at such moments, there is rather sudden damage, such as subsidence or cracking of walls. With the portal foundation recovery, the data of the foundation of a particular address in Zaanstad may be asked for.

iDEALThe Postbank, with its more than 7.5 million private account holders, is one of the largest financial service providers in the Netherlands and now fully operates under the name of ING. Customers are welcome for all financial products: payment, saving, loans, mortgages, insurances, investments and pensions. iDEAL was a part of the Formule 1 program and would strongly support the objective. Itude at iDEALFrom the role of project manager one of the Itude employees has done the negotiations with and between the banking parties involved, being ING, Postbank, Rabobank and ABN Amro. In the end a protocol has been agreed on with which financial transactions via iDEAL could be recorded. Subsequently, the project manager has had the leading role in the design, the development, the testing and the taking into production of iDEAL for the Postbank. The Postbank was the first with an operational version of iDEAL.

Katwijk ChemieKatwijk Chemie produces base materials for the pharmaceutical industry. Itude at Katwijk ChemieFor Katwijk, Itude Mobile has written software for the monitoring of the production process on the shop-floor.

Optimix Vermogensbeheer NVOptimix Vermogensbeheer NV is one of the largest independent asset management companies in the Netherlands. The Optimix service provision is focused at the functional management of assets from € 2 million and more. Momentarily the overall managed assets of Optimix lies around € 2 billion. Itude at Optimix Vermogensbeheer NVOptimix has had a new website developed. On this website customers could amongst others consult the status and the development of their assets online. This is an additional service for existing Optimix customers and is considered to be a first step towards possible future (online) activities.

PaySquareAs a 100% daughter of Equens SE, PaySquare is market leading in its service provision from its Dutch office in Utrecht. The organisation and its employees may be proud of years of experience in the cards business. PaySquare is involved in:
Issuing: Issuing credit cards under its licence (MasterCard and VISA) and the accompanying services around it, for its own cards, but also for cards of external parties
Acquiring: The connection of companies for accepting cards from different payment schemes, such as MasterCard, VISA, AMEX, JCB and CUP. PaySquare also takes care of most services related to this activity, as well as the connection and the processing of internet payments

PaperlinxPaperlinX is one of the largest paper wholesale companies in the world, with 10.000 employees in 30 countries and listed on the Australian stock exchange. This company provides both to the packaging industry and to the printing business. A part of the PaperlinX revenue is online revenue. In order to stimulate this, the company has started their e-business initiative a couple of years ago. The acceptation of the web application, developed with .NET and Endeca information access technology, left a lot to be desired and also the collaboration with the technology suppliers did not go smoothly. Itude has been asked for a second opinion. Itude at Paperlinx Itude has done an audit and presented its findings in a report. Under the supervision of Itude also a realistic release plan has been drawn up and the relationship with the technology suppliers has been normalized.

AtradiusThe name Atradius came into being in 2003 and offers a broad spectrum of credit management solutions at an international level. Credit insurance is one of the core competences. Atradius has offices in 40 countries, 3.900 employees and a database of over 52 million companies. On a daily basis 22.000 credit limit decision are made. Its overall annual turnover of € 1.8 billion, represents an international market share of 31%, thus making Atradius market leader. Yearly Atradius insures approximately € 465 billion of the world trade. Itude at AtradiusThe project office had been set up in order to have the different ICT organizations work according to a standard. This enabled the management to better map the efficiency and effectiveness. It also enabled them to manage and monitor different ICT projects. Itude was involved in the set-up of the project office and has provided the interim mangers for it for over a year. The project office worked for an IT department of 170 employees, divided over four countries.

SIDNThe Foundation for Internet Domain Registration in the Netherlands (SIDN) has been responsible for registration and issuing of .nl domain names since 1996. By now, for the over 3 million .nl-domain names, approximately 750 million successful searches are being processed daily. The service provision to the public takes place via 2.100 independent corporate Internet service providers. Itude at SIDNThe core application for the registration of domain names could not keep up with the exponential growth. Some solutions offered by certain parties resulted in extremely expensive recommendations. In a second opinion Itude has offered much less expensive solutions. Through a number of clever adaptations in the application, the life span could be prolonged significantly. Then Itude made the application suitable for the automated process support via Oracle Workflow. When the existing data model appeared to be no longer suitable for the desired functional changes, Itude has contributed significantly to the realization of a new, more flexible, data model. Last but not least Itude has built the conversion scripts and provided support during the conversion of the data to the new system.

BKWIThe Bureau Chain Automation Work and Income (BKWI) supports parties in the area of work and income: the chain partners. The chain partners are the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV), the Social Insurance Bank (SVB), the municipal social services (GSDs), the Health and Safety Inspectorate (AI) and the Social Information and Investigation Service (SIOD). BKWI provides facilities that enable the chain partners to share information and make agreements among themselves. The most important facility is the Suwinet. Via the Suwinet-View application the employees of the chain partners may view data from the other parties.
A part of the Suwinet-View is the Intervention team application (IVT). Intervention teams are engaged in the fight against illegal employment and the related malpractices, tax and social security fraud and benefit fraud. To this purpose checks are being performed by officers of the Tax Authorities, the AI, UWV, the municipality, the SVB and the Public Prosecution Service. After such checks the findings are copied into the IVT system. As the different teams have different needs of information, the users themselves can arrange their data within the objects under investigation of a project. Itude at BKWI Itude has played an important role in the development of the IVT application. The flexible data model has been developed in close collaboration with BKWI. The application has been divided into management module for the management of the data model and a user’s module for the actual use of the system. Users may record investigative data, go through it and export it in CSV format. A very detailed authorization mechanism for the project data prevents unauthorized changes or access of the data.
The IVT application is made as a web service that communicates messages via SOAP/XML to Suwinet-View. Suwinet-View takes care of the transformation of an XML message to an HTML screen via the BWKI Intermediate XML format. This format describes screen definitions and is generated via XSLT from the web service responses. The IVT web service has been built in Java 1.5, based on a BKWI framework and JDBC/MySQL.
