Technologies come and go. At the end of the twentieth century Oracle Designer and Developer was one of the most popular developing tools in the Netherlands, based on Model Based Development. However, thanks to the increasing popularity of Component Based Development with Java or .NET, nowadays hardly any new applications are built with Oracle Designer and Developer. There still are a lot of business critical applications in the market that have been developed in this environment. They will not soon disappear, because of the large value they represent.

Already for 15 years Itude has been building systems based on large databases with the help of the Oracle tools. Our customers still run business critical core systems, that have been fully developed by Itude. Itude helps its customers keeping these core systems up and running. Itude also assists its customers to gradually migrate to a new architecture, thus guaranteeing the permanence of investments in new functionality.

It is Itude’s strength to determine which technology is important for a customer. We have worked with all major Oracle products and acquired experience. In addition to Oracle Designer and Developer we have done projects with Oracle Portal, Oracle JDeveloper and Oracle BPEL. Our employees have closely followed the Oracle developments from 1992 till to today. For example, our Oracle employees have participated in the Oracle Open World in 2008 and Itude is a member of the board of the Dutch Oracle User Group.
